La gran voz del destino puso en marcha
  el cántico que entonan los estados,
  respondiendo con ritmos soberanos,
  a los sones nativos y a su casta.

  El nómada heroísmo del oeste,
  soberbio ennobleció nuevas culturas,
  con sordas invasiones que la acusan
  de ser la tierra amada y consecuente.

  Los supremos sonidos ya conjuntan
  las razas que conforman mudos retos,
  de hombres con orgullo y sin reverso,
  que hicieron con su origen la estructura.

  Clamores de proezas y conquistas
  se ven en su bandera como estrellas,
  que encierran el honor y las ideas, 
  cual ciprés que su sombra las cobija.

  Son los genes del pueblo americano
  testigos de la historia y de su curso,
  con próceres que están y siguen juntos
  en esfuerzo y estímulo hermanados.

  Recamado de nácar y de oro,
  tirado por leones su carruaje,
  va pródiga de dones y adelante,
  la Nación de naciones, por sus logros.

  De nobleza altruista e inmarcesible
  envidiada por dioses del Parnaso,
  su épico blasón allana el tranco,
  del futuro de gloria que la asiste

           the canticle that the states intone,
           responding with sovereign rhythms, 
           to native tune and its chaste one.

           The nomadic heroism of the west, 
           magnificent ennobled new cultures,
           with deaf invasions that accuse it
           to be the loved and consequent land.

           The supreme sounds already combine 
           the races that conform dumb dares, 
           of men with pride and without reverse, 
           that made with their origin, the structure. 

           Outcries of feats and conquests, 
           see in their flag as stars,
           that lock up the honor and the ideas, 
           as cypress which shade covers it.

           These are the genes of the American people
           that attend the course of the history, 
           with eminent which are in the memory, 
           in brotherhood effort and stimulus.

           Embroidered of nacre and gold, 
           thrown by lions its cart goes 
           prodigal, of gifts and anger: 
           the Nation of Nations, by its profits.

           Of altruistic and unwithering nobility, 
           envied by Deas of the Parnaso, 
           its epic escutcheon smoothes the step
           of the future of glory that attends it.
